One home for every chapter

Less searching. More time together.

Pet Passport+ connects the many small and significant details of a pet’s life into one calm, understandable picture.
01

Health timeline

21 record types – from vet visits to labs, imaging and behaviour – in one traceable chronicle.

02

Symptom diary

Tap the body map to say where it is. The app remembers since when, how often, and whether it is getting worse.

03

Vaccines & prevention

Due dates and boosters with lead time – optionally following the StIKo Vet and ESCCAP schedules, always as a suggestion, never automatically.

04

Weight, trends & the year in review

Several measurements on one axis, from body condition score to lab values – and once a year, the whole thing in numbers.

05

Medication plan

Dose, timing and stock. Administrations are logged duplicate-safe, even with several carers.

06

Reminders

8 categories with recurrence, quiet hours and a completion history. In the phone app they reach you even when the app is closed.

The question every practice asks

Since when, how often, and is it getting worse?

Almost nobody can answer it. You notice something is wrong – but not that the limping started eleven days ago, happened six times, and always after the long walk. That is what the symptom diary is for.

None of this is an interpretation. Vomiting, pain and anxiety look identical in this kind of data – the app counts and compares, it never concludes.

  1. 01

    Tapping, not typing

On the body map you pick the spot – ears, abdomen, hind legs. Then how strong, in words, and how often. An entry takes about fifteen seconds, because a diary that takes longer is a diary nobody keeps.

  2. 02

The pattern nobody holds in their head

The course shows the strongest note per day, and empty days stay visible – otherwise something occasional looks continuous. If a weekday stands out, the app says so. But only from eight observations on, because two Mondays are not a Monday problem.

  3. 03

    Ready for the appointment

Visit preparation no longer opens on an empty box but on the answer: “Limping · hind legs · for 26 days · noted 6× · daily · severity 3/5 · worsening.”

Every profile as individual as its companion

From the first day through every life stage.

When you create a profile you pick the breed from a maintained catalogue — or enter your own, with your own photo. 212 breeds across 12 species are catalogued.

Hamsters and horses & ponies are in the catalogue with every breed too; their photographs are still to come. Until then — and everywhere else — you can use your own picture.

What it looks like inside

The surfaces you actually work in.

Not a concept image: this is the structure waiting for you after sign-in.

For every life stage

Four situations where order genuinely matters.

The first year

Puppy & kitten

Primary vaccinations, worming and weight in weekly steps. The first year decides whether anything can be evidenced later.

  • Vaccine series with lead time
  • Growth curve
  • Chip and registration details
Long-term medication

Chronic condition

Two medicines, three times a day, a changing dose. Every administration is logged — even when someone else feeds today.

  • Duplicate-safe administration log
  • Stock and reordering
  • Lab trends across years
A full household

Several pets

Three pets, three practices, three insurers. One profile switch instead of three folders.

  • Separate profile per pet
  • Roles for family and sitters
  • Costs broken down per pet
The later years

Senior

More check-ups, more findings, more questions. The vet visit gets prepared instead of improvised.

  • Visit preparation to take along
  • Body condition score
  • Printable health report

When minutes count

The part you hope never to need.

In an emergency there is no signal in the woods, no patience for a search and no steady hand. So this section lives entirely on the device – it works in a dead spot exactly as it does at home.

Works without internet

First aid, step by step

Heatstroke, seizure, heavy bleeding, choking, poisoning and bloat. Each card starts with how to recognise it, then what to do – and just as prominently, what not to do. No ice water for heatstroke, never induce vomiting yourself, do not sweep blindly into the throat: these are the well-meant reflexes that make it worse.

Poison check with a dose

Turns “he ate some chocolate” into a number the practice can act on. The kind decides it: 100 g of cocoa powder is two hundred times the same weight in white chocolate. Where a calculation would be false precision – grapes, lilies, antifreeze – the app shows no number, only the reason.

Missing mode

One tap produces the poster to print, the ready text for neighbourhood groups and a finder QR: whoever scans it is offered the call straight away. While the search runs, it replaces the emergency card.

Emergency card on the collar

A QR code created on your device that contains no link – so it cannot lead nowhere later. Scanned, it offers the call or shows the chip, practice and your emergency note as plain text.

These notes do not replace veterinary treatment. They are meant to bridge the minutes until professional help arrives – and to stop well-meant first aid from making things worse. There is deliberately no all-clear: the mildest answer it can give is “call now”.

Made for real pet families

Dogs and cats at heart. Every other companion welcome.

Profiles and care guidance adapt to species and living environment – from golden retrievers to rabbits, budgies to horses.

For comparison: a routine check-up at a German vet costs €30–80, a booster €50–80. A whole year of Pet Passport+ costs less than that.

Private by design. Human controlled.

Trust is part of the product.

Personal records are stored reliably on your device first and securely synced through your member account. AI content stays labelled, and changes are only saved after you confirm them.

Organise pet life

Create profiles and sync records safely.

Does Pet Passport+ replace an EU pet passport?

No. Pet Passport+ organises saved details and preparations but never replaces official original documents. The passport stays the valid document — here it is simply also available digitally.

Do I need an account and a subscription?

Yes. The personal app requires an account and an active membership. Without an account, the public demo with sample data stays available indefinitely.

How do I cancel?

At any time yourself through the Stripe portal in your account. Membership runs to the end of the paid period; there is no minimum term.

What happens to my data after cancelling?

It stays on your device and stays exportable. The account itself has its own clearly described deletion path.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. After sign-in and membership verification, every change is saved locally first and the app remains usable offline. Cloud sync is optional for multiple devices. For security and entitlement updates, the app occasionally reconnects; first aid, the poison check and the emergency card stay available even with no signal.

How many pets can I add?

As many as you like. Each pet gets its own profile with its own timeline, documents and cost breakdown.

Is the app only for dogs?

No. Dogs and cats are the main audience, but 12 species with 212 catalogued breeds are supported — from rabbits and birds to reptiles, fish and horses.

Can my vet access it?

Not your account. You take what matters for the appointment instead: a prepared summary of the symptoms, the printable health report, or a complete export. You decide each time what the consulting room sees — and what it does not.

Can several people care for one pet?

Yes. Family, co-owners and sitters get roles, and every medication administration stays attributed to the person who logged it.

Can I export my data?

Yes, at any time and without a membership: structured as JSON, tabular as CSV and as a printable report.

How do you handle AI?

AI only helps read uploaded documents. Extracted details are labelled and are only written after you confirm them — never automatically.

Is the poison check medical advice?

No. It works out how much per kilo of body weight adds up, so you can give a number on the phone instead of “something with chocolate”. It deliberately never gives an all-clear: the mildest answer is “call now and describe it”.

What happens when my pet dies?

The profile is archived, not deleted — reminders and medication plans stop on their own, so nothing pings you about a tablet again. The life story stays complete for as long as you want to keep it.

Does the app interpret symptoms or make a diagnosis?

No. It counts, compares and summarises — nothing more. Vomiting, pain and anxiety look identical in records like these, and only a professional can tell them apart.

Does this replace going to the vet?

No, deliberately. The app organises information and prepares appointments. Diagnosis and treatment belong in professional hands.
